There are over 70 species of Diascia, all indigenous to South Africa.
The delicate flowers bloom in such profusion that plants gives masses of colour. They bloom well in the cooler seasons, adding colour to the garden before and after most other flowers are finished. Will tolerate moderate frost. They are easy to grow and disease resistant, and spring and autumn are the time to plant them.
