Pumpkin Flat White Boer

Pumpkin Flat White Boer

Pumpkins are very versatile, most parts of the pumpkin are edible, the seeds, the leaves, and even the flowers. Pumpkins are a warm-weather crop, and prefer soil that holds water well. Pumpkins are, however, rather hardy, and even if many leaves and portions of the vine are removed or damaged, the plant can very quickly re-grow secondary vines. Pumpkins produce both a male and female flower; bees play a significant role in fertilization. Inadequately pollinated pumpkins usually start growing but abort before full development.

Excellent quality with sweet and meaty orange flesh. Light coloured skin. A national treasure. Very vigorous plants
