Dill

Easy to grow and in the same family as parsley. Mention of Dill can be found in ancient Egyptian scripts. Dill has a mild liquorice type flavour. Dill leaves and seeds are used in a wide variety of dishes, traditionally Dill seed is used for pickling while the leaves can be used for pickling but are also a refreshing addition to salads.
