Pula Khutsong Community is a centre just outside Carletonville on the West Rand. It’s an organisation that was formed by 8 pensioners, made up of 5 men and 3 women.
The aim of the centre is to alleviate poverty and maintain a healthy lifestyle by growing vegetables for their households and their surrounding communities.
Kirchhoffs was made aware of this initiative by the team at 94.7 and are proud to have been at the start. The Pula slogan sums it all up: #WeArePula. Gardening is our bread and butter.
